Between 1979 and 1989, Rose Morris collaborated with three UK-based electronic subcontractors to manufacture the Vox AC-30 amplifiers. From 1979 to 1984, production was handled by Dallas Industries in Shoeburyness, Essex. Audio Factors, located near Leeds in West Yorkshire, took over manufacturing from 1984 to 1987. In 1988, production transitioned to Precision Electronics in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

Impressed by the quality of Precision Electronics' work, Rose Morris acquired a significant stake in the company in 1989. They then established Vox Amplification Ltd. as a fully owned production facility for Vox, supported by a dedicated in-house team of engineers, marketers, and production staff.

Vox Amplification's first major project was designing and producing a limited-edition amplifier to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the AC-30. In 1990 and 1991, they released 1,000 units of the "30th Anniversary Limited Edition" AC-30, marking a milestone in the brand's legacy.

Brown Vox Grill
The release of the Limited Edition AC-30 marked the reintroduction of the iconic brown Vox fret (grill) cloth. This reissue featured a coarse weave, with vibrant red, green, and white diamond stitching that evoked the classic Vox aesthetic.

Hardware
The Limited Edition AC-30 retained traditional design elements such as two-pin corners and pancake feet, sourced from Rean of London. Enhancing its vintage appeal, the amp included three oversized stamped steel vent grills, finished in gold paint. Three vintage-style leather handles with brass hardware were mounted on the top of the amplifier, and an embossed brass serial plaque adorned the upper rear panel.

Control Panel
The cherry red anodized control panel featured white silk-screened nomenclature, though it was prone to scratching. The panel included a five-position voltage selector and a fuse, positioned near the toggle-style power switch, consistent with the design of 1960s-era Vox AC-30 amplifiers.

Egg Foot Switch
The Limited Edition AC-30 came with a single-button footswitch inspired by the original cast aluminum JMI Vox "egg" pedal, used to control the Vib/Trem effect.

Speakers
Equipped with two 12" 8-ohm Celestion G12-M20 Greenback speakers wired in series to 16 ohms, the Limited Edition AC-30 offered a sound reminiscent of its vintage predecessors. Vox described the G12-M20 as "the best acoustic match to the original blue units" in their catalog. The pictured unit, however, featured replacement speakers.

Chassis
The amplifier utilized a full-width rectangular anodized steel chassis pan, originally developed for the AC30TBR Model 1007. The chassis was secured to the cabinet's sides with four bolts, ensuring durability and stability.

Circuit Design
The 30th Anniversary Limited Edition AC-30 featured a single circuit board that streamlined construction by integrating tube sockets, controls, and input jacks into one efficient design. This circuit board was also used in the AC30TBR Model 1007 "Standard" amps produced after 1990.
