The Eastman MD315 is an F-style mandolin with two classic looking F-holes and a beautifully shaped physique. It was hand built in the Eastman workshop with the use of traditional materials and fine craftsmanship. It has a very musical tone with excellent projection.

Materials

Like all Eastman instruments, the Eastman MD315 was made from the finest, carefully selected materials. The solid top was hand carved out of spruce, a popular tone wood known for its bright and sparkling sound. Both the sides and the back of the body are made from solid maple. This tone wood has a clear tonality and is seen on many high-end acoustic instruments.The maple neck sports an ebony fingerboard with a total of 23 neatly placed frets. Pearl dot inlays indicate the position on the fretboard and the MD315 has an adjustable ebony bridge.his wonderfully shaped mandolin is a great addition to any collection of musical instruments.
