The Alhambra 6 White Ebony is a beautifully built classical guitar with exotic features. For the sides and back, Alhambra has chosen ebony, which not only has a beautiful pattern but also great sound properties. The top is made of cedar with a high gloss finish. The base model is the 6, technically a guitar for the advanced guitarist. The top and placement of the sound bars have a huge influence on the sound, therefore 7 sound bars and 2 harmonic sound bars on the bottom were chosen. This ensures better volume and rich tone. The mahogany neck is equipped with an ebony reinforcement, making it feel less bulky and maintaining stability.

Top
Many cedar woods used for the tops of acoustic guitars come from the USA or Canada. It gives a nice warm sound with sufficient bass. Compared to spruce, it has a bit less high and perhaps slightly less volume. Cedar is very suitable for guitars with a small body, such as concert models, so also for classical guitars. Along the top runs a rosewood binding with red accents. Alhambra opts for a Classical 5 bracing, a fan-shaped placement of sound bars placed under the top for optimal support and balanced tone.

Body
For the sides and back of this guitar, extremely rare White ebony, also known as Moon ebony, is used. This wood usually comes from the western part of Africa. The sound properties are rich basses and sparkling highs. It is in a laminated form, which is easier to work with and cheaper than solid wood parts. It consists of three layers, of which the outer veneer layer has the most beautiful pattern. Although the tonal properties of laminated wood are less complex than solid wood, it can be advantageous for stage guitars. The chance of feedback is reduced. It is also less sensitive to temperature and humidity changes. Laminated wood can be a good choice if the guitar is often taken along.

Neck
It consists of three parts of mahogany: head, middle section, and heel. It is equipped with an ebony reinforcement so that it feels less bulky and maintains stability. In the past, this was visibly applied to the back, but nowadays the strip is invisibly worked under the fretboard. The connection with the body is a so-called dovetail neck joint, an angled connection, and reinforcement in the soundbox. These parts are glued together.

Fretboard
Ebony, most commonly found in West Africa, is used for fretboards and bridges. It is particularly heavy wood and has beautiful all-around sound properties as a fretboard. Ebony does not always have to be black in color, there are enough variations with natural stripes in them. It is equipped with 19 nickel/silver frets. As with most classical guitars, no position markings are made.

Bridge
Rosewood is the most used wood type for the bridge of a nylon-string guitar. It is durable and has a more open structure than, for example, maple or ebony. It also sounds less bright.

Tuning Machines
A traditional model with three contiguous tuners on both sides of the head. Gold-colored with nylon spindles, hard steel pins, brass gears, and ivory-colored knobs.

Finish
A glossy lacquer layer gives the guitar maximum protection against external influences. It can be cleaned with a soft and slightly damp cloth. Applying a wax layer a few times a year ensures that the lacquer layer stays in the right condition.
