The JUP 45-H is the Head version of the Koch Jupiter guitar amplifier. The Jupiter is a hybrid amplifier that combines a 12AX7 tube in both the preamp and power amp with Koch's special ATR technology (Authentic Tube Response). The result is a full-fledged 'tube sound' in an attractively priced, lightweight combo. The Koch Jupiter Head has a power output of 45 Watts and is suitable for home, studio, and stage use. It features a built-in reverb effect and a boost function on the second channel for an extra dose of ripping gain.

Koch Jupiter Head: from cool to hot

With the Jupiter Head, you have two switchable channels. Both have their own gain and volume controls, and with the included two-button footswitch, you can switch hands-free between the clean (Cool) and overdrive (Hot) channels. The channels share a 3-band equalizer which also has a contour option for a modern 'scooped' sound. In the master section, you'll find a classic spring-style reverb and a dimmer that allows you to smoothly adjust the power output from 100 to 0%. Ideal for when you want that delicious tube-like crunch and compression at lower volumes.
