Neck-Through Construction

BC Rich is renowned as a pioneer in neck-through construction, utilizing it across many of their guitars for its superior sustain, resonance, comfort, and access to higher frets. Considered the gold standard for high-end guitars, this construction method starts with premium North American maple or mahogany, running seamlessly from the tip of the headstock to the end of the guitar. Every component—from the headstock to the pickups and bridge—is mounted on this single sound foundation, resulting in a discernible sonic difference. Additionally, neck-through construction allows for more extensive body and neck contouring at the joint, providing a level of comfort unmatched by bolt-on or set-neck designs. This feature is present on all our top-of-the-line BC Rich models.

Beveled Top

Many BC Rich body styles incorporate a beveled edge around the shape, akin to facets on a cut stone. These bevels catch and reflect light at various angles, lending the instrument a three-dimensional appearance. While some BC Rich top bevels are pronounced and wide, others are subtle and narrow. Occasionally, the instrument's shape is accentuated by painting the bevels a contrasting color.
